Preeti M. Sivasankar, PhD discusses how her ASHFoundation funding helped launch her research career and supported her study of the early symptoms of voice disorders. Dr. Sivasankar describes her work to identify the cues we need to better target the symptoms and develop more efficient treatments to help people dealing with voice problems. Dr. Sivasankar received the ASHFoundation’s Research Grant for New Investigators in 2006 and the New Century Scholars Research Grant in 2007.
